She awoke suddenly and poked her head around the corner.

"Where are the other people?" she asked.

"What other people?" he demanded.

"The other people," she continued, "all the people."

He paused and looked her over.

"Are you awake?"

She stared at him, blankly.

"Where is everyone, Johnny? You're the only person here!"

With that, she turned over and fell back asleep.
